Copper Braids And Ropes
Elcab makes a wide variety of round and flat copper braids in sizes ranging from 1.5 sq mm to 400 sq mm. We make braids in various lengths, fitted with various types of lugs (made in-house or bought-out).
These are widely used in various industries like Railways, Electrical and Electronic, Automobile, Chemical and various heavy duty applications like earthling/ grounding of large turnkey plants.
Elcab offers Welding Cables in electrolytic grade 99.97% pure fine copper wires. Welding Cables manufactured by us are insulated with a compound having 40% rubber and 60% PVC.
The main advantage of our Welding Cables is that we use pure copper and give the proper cross sectional area. Available in different sizes, these are also known for their durable performance.
Solar Cable conforms to a number of standards that further verify its quality and suitability for the purpose.
Elcab solar cables are designed for the harsh environments of solar energy applications- the hot and cold of climate extremes, ozone and UV radiation, moisture, oil and direct burial.
The cables use a specially formulated PVC jacket that can withstand the potential environments without failing or degrading. Solar Cables are available in shielded or unshielded form.
These cables conform to IS: 694. These cables undergo stringent quality checks during manufacturing process and at the final stage.
These cables are also used in other applications where batteries are used, e.g. telecommunication, power, computers, etc. where the D.C. voltage does not exceed 100 volts.
These cables can be safely operated under extreme temperatures from -20°C to 105°C. These cables are long-lasting and ensure proper distribution of power in the vehicle.
Elcab manufactures Stranded Copper Ropes in flexible as well as rigid construction. The flexible ropes are usually made in Tinned Copper Wires wherein the strand diameter is as fine as 0.12mm.
These flexible ropes are designated with their overall diameters ranging from 3mm to 8mm. These ropes have very close lay lengths.
